Our 1st and 2nd-grade students have recently seen the play ‘The Ugly Duckling’, an adaptation of the classic tale written by Hans Christian Andersen. The story emphasizes the importance of befriending people who are different from us. The moral values we learnt from this show are:
1. Never judge others by their appearances.
2. Do not be easily discouraged.
3. It is essential to care about others.
The storyteller brings the beloved story to life with a lot of humour, funny scenes, and engages students in different activities, such as games, songs, and acting. It was truly an enjoyable experience!
